Welcome to ATAM Academy
ATAM Academy is an all-through academy, with a Sikh religious character. Pupils join us at three years old (in nursery) and stay until eighteen years old (Year 13). We opened our 6th form in September 2024 and will continue to grow until fully open with Year 13 in September 2025.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. We welcome students of all abilities and celebrate the diversity of cultures, backgrounds and talents which students, parents and staff bring to our inclusive academy. ATAM Academy has talented staff, committed governors and supportive parents.
We value working in partnership together with our young people to achieve the very best outcomes for them. We believe that the whole academy community is involved in the process of learning; learning to be the best at whatever stage we are on life’s journey. We believe that education is more than gaining qualifications. It is about personal fulfilment in life, encouraging each other to use our talents, enjoying being excited about learning and experiencing a sense of wonder and awe.
Every child matters
We treat every child as an individual and they talk passionately about being part of a vibrant and exciting community, feeling safe and valued. Our children enjoy coming to school and we expect the very highest attendance. We are passionate advocates for All Through Education. Through this we can serve our community and families ensuring a first-class educational experience with continuity and progression.
All through education offers many unique opportunities including shared experiences, powerful role models and in-depth knowledge. We offer a broad curriculum and know that excellence can only be achieved by consistently providing students with appropriate challenge, raising aspirations and insisting that good behaviour enables great learning.
Admissions
Applications to the School are made through the Local Authority’s coordinated admissions scheme. Parents are required to complete the Common Application Form (CAF) which is sent by their Local Authority.
